Shirley has experience working in London and the Netherlands, and has enjoyed working on projects in Cape Town for local and European clients from Holland, Sweden, Germany and Poland.

House Ekbergh
The House Ekbergh is a stunning mid-century design located in a majestic setting, with warm materials and organic shapes that nestles perfectly on the site and responds respectfully to the breathtaking natural setting. The renovation of this old spanish-style home has been tastefully re-designed and sculpted, making it a comfortable, inviting and iconic home.
House Otterling
This seaside holiday home is designed to maximize on views and open plan living, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The large family kitchen is perfect for entertaining, with warm natural materials, neutral colours and tones, natural textures, and soft edges and curves. The holiday home seamlessly opens out to beautiful inviting outdoor living and dining spaces, making the most of the beautiful seaside location.
House Gardiner
House Gardiner, located on Steenberg Golf Estate, is an incredible transformation of a dated dark home into a living space that maximizes on view and open plan living. It boasts a beautifully landscaped courtyard cleverly providing natural light throughout the home and classic contemporary detailing reflecting the cape dutch vernacular in a simple modern timeless way. A highlight of this home is its beautiful farm-style kitchen, a perfect combination of classic charm and modern convenience.
House Blackwood
House Blackwood is a stunning renovation and refurbishment of a New York style loft in a secluded forest on the slopes of Table Mountain. Shirley worked closely with the creative clients to design each unique space, including bespoke joinery and original, designer pieces. The tranquil and peaceful pool and terrace provide a peaceful respite from the warm atmospheric interior spaces, opening up to the natural setting.
House Cragg
House Cragg is a beautifully transformed courtyard beach house, with a relaxed Mediterranean Ibiza style. The key to the design was to create the perfect space for entertaining family and friends, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Located just steps away from the ocean, it is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the waves, creating lasting memories with family and friends around an open firepit and outdoor kitchen.
House Clayton
House Cragg a chic contemporary inner city renovation on the slopes of Table Mountain for a busy young family had to be modern and affordable. Taking into consideration the client’s tight budget and desire for a contemporary style we were able to create a space that blends practicality with elegance.
